In a significant update for Gujarat’s infrastructure and the future of Dholera SIR, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has officially notified toll rate formulas for key highway stretches leading directly into the smart city. The toll notification applies to two critical road sections:
- NH-751:
A 30.727 km stretch from Nari Junction (near Bhavnagar) to Adhelai, which lies at the tail end of Dholera SIR.
(Design Km: 136.000 to 169.308) - NE-8 (Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway):
A 23.860 km segment from Adhelai Interchange to Dholera Interchange, covering direct access to the core activation area of Dholera SIR.
(Design Km: 84.709 to 109.019)
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will manage both stretches, with tolls collected from a dedicated plaza located near Bhadbhid village in Bhavnagar district.
